Location and accessibility

Het Groene Paleis is located in the middle of the renewed Rokin, next to the department stores of Hudson Bay. There are excellent connections with public transport. Tram stop Spui and Dam Square are both within walking distance of the restaurant.

The North-South line has been opened since July 22, 2018. Station Rokin is located right in the center of Amsterdam and becomes the beating heart of ‘the red carpet’. The Red Carpet project contributes to this by realizing a high quality environment where you would like to stay: pleasant squares, promenades and spacious shopping streets.

Parking

You can park your car at the Bijenkorf in the parking garage. Furthermore, a parking deck is built under the Rokin metro station with space for 300 cars. This will be ready in early 2019.

Amsterdam is working on a touringcar-free center, which has increased the number of entry bans for touringcars, with the exception of destination traffic, in the Centrum district.

Touringcars

There are several S-routes to the center several from the A10 ring (S101 to S118). We recommend using the S-routes. These are the fastest S-routes to the center. Park and Ride (P+R)
